Tratamento dos documentos de estágio no curso de medicina de uma universidade pública: trabalhos e retrabalhos

Abstract

This dissertation was developed within the scope of the Education`s Management and Evaluation of Professional Master's Degree (PPGP) at The Public Policy and Education`s Evaluation Center of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (CAEd/UFJF). The management case that is intended to present was observed under the perspective of a education technical-administrative (TAE) of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), which acts directly on the Internship Advisory Commission sector (COE) of the School of Medicine (Famed), from this institution. This sector operates within Famed's Academic Division Secretariat and provides support to enrolled students in the course`s mandatory supervised internships, which they go through during the last two years of this degree. COE has among its administrative activities the receivement of the relevant documentation about the regulation of internships to start the signatures collection and, later, refer it to the Graduation`s Pro-Rectory (Prograd), in order to consolidate the procedures to validate the internships on the system. In this context, this research intends to point out, within a time frame that covers a full semester, the related embargoes of the validation attributions of the internships documents which are observed in this COE. It aims to present how they affect the dynamics of the sector`s activities and, under this scenario, to explore new ways to streamline the work. In this sense, the guiding question of this research is: which actions can contribute to the efficiency of the coe's attributions regarding to the current process of the documentation of the boarding school? To this end, the qualitative methodology will be used from the documentary research, involving the treatment of inherent documents of regulating internships process; interviews with involved actors in this dynamic; as well as questionnaires and bibliographic research.
