Práticas de oralidade nos cristianismos originários: uma abordagem sociocultural das narrativas Mateana e Lucana sobre transmissões orais

Abstract

During the period of Early Christianity, the first generations of followers took on the task of propagating the memory of Jesus through oral communications. Even after these traditions from and about Jesus were recorded in various genres of written texts, oral transmissions were still substantially used in the movement of Early Christianity. In view of this fundamental role of oral resources in the exercise of early Christian experiences, the approach of orality stands out as important reading key for understanding the first manifestations of Christianity. In this dissertation, we sought to focus on the functioning of orality in the period of Early Christianity, specifically the representation found in the passages of Mt 10, 5-16 and Lk 10, 1- 12. From the Cultural History and the Form Criticism, these narratives mateana and lucana were understood as indicative of orality practices. In this analysis, it was observed the existence of different itinerant oral communication models, which highlights the plural character of the early Christian movement. Thus, this work sought to study the representations of the modes of oral transmission present in the Gospel of Matthew and in the Gospel of Luke
