A efetividade das medidas protetivas no âmbito da violência contra a mulher

Abstract

The present work analyzes the effectiveness of protective measures in the context of violence against women. In this regard, the Maria da Penha Law is one of the main support mechanisms for women. The theme was contextualized, gender inequality and patriarchy were conceptualized and the role of women in society was analyzed. Subsequently, the issue of male domination was discussed and the case of rape suffered by influencer Mariana Ferrer was analyzed. The types of violence against women were discussed and analyzed, as well as the main laws and measures to protect women. As a theoretical reference, civil-constitutional bibliography and transdisciplinary reading were used. Methods of approach and procedural methods were used, favoring the deductive, critical-deductive and inductive methods. Despite all existing legal support on the subject, it was concluded that it is still necessary to carry out proposals aimed at reducing cases of violence against women.
