Lazer e cinema: um olhar para a gestão do cinema do Santa Cruz Shopping, Juiz de Fora/MG

Abstract

The present work has the general objective of analyzing the challenges and possibilities of the cinema at Santa Cruz Shopping, Juiz de Fora/MG, from the perspective of its management, especially regarding the leisure and tourism experiences of these spaces. Regarding the specific objectives, we seek to briefly present a bit of the history of Santa Cruz Shopping. In addition, it is expected to discuss the cinema as a leisure equipment, seeking to discuss accessibility. As the locus of the study, we chose to study the cinema at Santa Cruz Shopping, as it is one of the oldest in the city today. The methodology of this work, of a qualitative and exploratory nature, was carried out through bibliographical research and semi-structured interview with the manager of the cinema, in order to understand the possibilities of leisure and tourism in the environment. Preliminary, it was concluded that the cinema studied presents a diversity of leisure experiences, also revealing challenges regarding accessibility in this equipment.
