Origami na sala de aula de matemática: transformando o espaço escolar

Abstract

The use of origami in the teaching of mathematics has been shown to be an innovative and efficient strategy for encouraging the learning of mathematical concepts in a practical and interactive way. The main purpose is to explore how the inclusion of origami can improve the teaching and learning process of mathematics, particularly among public school students. The Academic Justification emphasizes the relevance of innovative and interdisciplinary teaching methods, such as origami, to arouse students' interest in mathematics, improve cognitive skills and foster a more innovative teaching method. To conduct the literature review, we chose academic articles, books and other relevant sources that discuss the connection between origami and mathematics. A critical evaluation of these sources will make it possible to identify the most significant contributions, methodologies and results associated with the subject. The findings revealed the contributions of origami to math teaching, teachers' views on this methodology, and the effects on the students' learning process, particularly in public school environments.
