Inovação e segurança: o uso do chatbot “Chame a Frida” no enfrentamento da violência doméstica e familiar contra a mulher

Abstract

The study analyzes the characteristics of domestic and family violence against women in Brazil, highlighting the challenges faced by women over time. Furthermore, the text highlights women's potential and reflects on how technology can help address crimes against Brazilian women today. Initially, it provides a historical overview of the various forms of violence and the social structures that guarantee the production and reproduction of various forms of female oppression over time. It then reflects on the fact that, despite advances in the fight for gender equality and the enactment of the Maria da Penha Law (Law nº 11.340/06), which marked a shift in the legal treatment of domestic violence, challenges persist in implementing effective measures to protect women in the domestic environment. In this sense, it reflects on how technology can become an ally in women's protection, highlighting the chatbot, a tool capable of offering 24-hour support to victims, providing clarification, answering questions, and alerting them to the appropriate time to contact the police. The aim is to demonstrate the capabilities of such a device to contribute to greater security and autonomy for women, expanding their protection options and helping to overcome the barriers that keep them in a vulnerable situation.
