Turismo de eventos e perfil de demanda turística: um estudo exploratório do Minas Láctea 2023

Abstract

:This work investigates the profile of those attending the Minas Láctea 2023 event in Juiz de Fora, focusing on understanding, in addition to their stay profile, tourist behavior, more specifically, their activities, interests and opinions in relation to the event. The research used secondary data from the Department of Tourism (SETUR-JF) and adopted a quantitative approach to collect and analyze the information. In the results, it was observed that the majority of participants were women, with a predominant age range between 40 and 49 years old and an average income of R$1,654. Tourists spent an average of R$200 per day in the city, but with great variation in values. Most attendees expressed satisfaction with the event and indicated their interest in returning in future editions. However, the research revealed some problems in the

structure of the questionnaire, such as redundancy of options and errors in data collection, resulting in a high number of missing responses. The study suggests improvements in the methodology to increase data accuracy and better understand the impact of the event on local tourism, in addition to the level of satisfaction of its visitors.
