Bias Fortes em fatos e fotos: representações da memória urbana em grupos do Facebook

Abstract

This work aims to understand the rescue and re-signification of the memory of the city of Bias Fortes realized through the creation of a community in the social network Facebook, the group "Bias Fortes in facts and photos". In general, this study aims to evaluate the contribution of these materials to the local memory representation, through the description and interpretation of the narratives built on the city in the videos shared in this digital space. To do this, we describe and analyze five videos, selected within the total number of files in the virtual group, and representing the specific categories of culture, daily life, sport, religion and character. These materials were evaluated through the methodology of the Analysis of Audiovisual Materiality, which sought to observe the topics addressed; the main characters; narrated and focused spaces / times. Secondarily, we propose to analyze if the public of followers of this community identifies it as a space capable of creating this process of rememoration, observing for this the comments posted and the opinion of a portion of its members collected through opinion polling. The qualitative research was carried out using online questionnaires as a method to a sample of ten per cent of the public of followers of the virtual community in question. We also verified the objectives of the creation of the group, by examining the reasoning obtained through the interviews gathered in depth interviews with the idealizers of the same.
