A emergência de casos de Interação Fictiva como estratégia comunicativa em corpus de fala espontânea do português brasileiro

Abstract

The organization of the conversation in speech turns is basic for the communicative interaction and constitutes a structure of the uses of language which is known by the interlocutors. Pascual (2002, 2006, 2014; PASCUAL; SANDLER, 2016) recognizes the existence of a conversational basis for thought, language and discourse, which contributes to the use of the conversation frame in order to model cognition, discourse and grammar (PASCUAL, 2014), use which defines the phenomenon of Fictive Interaction (IF). The fictive use of the conversation frame is licensed by the cognitive pattern of discrepant representations of the same entity, where the conceptualizer is able to produce and interpret sentences, sometimes more veridical, or less veridical. This dissertation was based on the theories of Fictivity (TALMY, 1996, 2000, LANGACKER, 1999, 2008), Metaphor (LAKOFF, JOHNSON, 1980) and Mental Spaces (FAUCONNIER, 1994, 1997; FAUCONNIER; TURNER, 2002). It aimed at the mapping of occurrences of Fictive Interaction in five conversations in the family/private domain of C-ORAL BRASIL I (RASO; MELLO, 2012), spontaneous speech corpus of Brazilian Portuguese, through readings and analyzes with the support of the audios. As we have the knowledge that the phenomenon can take on different specific forms and functions, it was adopted a mixed methodological approach, corpus-based and corpus-driven (SARDINHA, 2004; TOGNINI-BONELLI, 2001), in order to allow the data itself to show its particularities and functions within the discourse. Therefore, an analysis of the actual use of language was made, respecting its complexity and giving prominence to the intention of the speaker when making use of certain structures. It was observed that the speaker uses IF when there is a need for detailed explanation or instruction or when there is an intention to persuade or convince the listener(s). In view of this, the Fictive Interaction is postulated as a communicative strategy in Brazilian Portuguese capable of solving local and partially conflicts of an interactional order (ROCHA, 2018).
